Hello Friends! We're so glad you decided to stop by!

Welcome to our travel blog! We are really excited to be able to share our journey through Cambodia with you.

We decided long ago that this trip was going to be a part of not only our story, but the story of all of our friends and family. We want to share this with you! We want it to become a part of your story just as much as it becomes a part of ours. Please know that all of your kind words, actions, and prayers have meant so much to us and have greatly impacted the way that we look at this trip.

Quotes from books, poems, TV shows and movies have appeared as we have prepared for this trip. If I'm absolutely truthful with myself and with you I would say that it has been incredibly eerie. We wanted to share this one with you that we shamelessly stole after our friend mentioned it in an email.

A Four-fold Franciscan Blessing

Bless us with a restless discomfort about easy answers, half-truths and superficial relationships, so that we may seek truth boldly and love deep within our hearts.

Bless us with holy anger at injustice, oppression, and exploitation of people, so that we may tirelessly work for justice, freedom, and peace among all people.

Bless us with the gift of tears to shed with those who suffer from pain, rejection, starvation, or the loss of all that they cherish, so that we may reach out our hand to comfort them and transform their pain into joy.

Bless us with enough foolishness to believe that we really can make a difference in this world, so that we are able, with your grace, to do what others claim cannot be done.

Be sure to check back every so often to see where we are, who we've met, and what we're up to. It's going to be a challenging trip but hopefully a joyful one as well.

Keep well,

Allison and Sara
